Design rich Discord embed messages with real-time WYSIWYG preview, field customization, and message editing.

Overview

The Embed Builder allows you to create professional, styled Discord embeds directly from your browser. Post announcements, update logs, community guidelines, or event notices to any channel in your linked Discord servers.

Capabilities

1. Full Field Customization

  • Title & Description — Supports standard Discord markdown formatting (bold, italics, code blocks).
  • Color Picker — Select custom accent sidebar colors using a visual color picker or hex codes.
  • Author & Footer — Add author headers, footer text, and optional ISO timestamps.
  • Images & Thumbnails — Attach main embed image URLs and top-right thumbnail icons.
  • Custom Fields — Add inline or full-width key-value field blocks.

2. Live Interactive Preview

As you edit fields, titles, and colors, the dashboard renders an exact, pixel-perfect preview of how your message will appear inside the Discord client.

3. Edit Existing Discord Messages

Paste a Discord Message Link (e.g. https://discord.com/channels/123/456/789) into the Message Link box and click Load. ShadowConfig will fetch the existing embed content into the editor, allowing you to edit and update the live Discord message without deleting and re-sending it.

Prerequisites
