Plans & Limits
Free, Pro, and Developer tiers — what each plan includes and where limits apply.
ShadowConfig plans gate features across the dashboard. Limits affect games, team members, Discord servers, live actions, AI scans, AI chat, variables, scripts, and allowed config types. Choose a plan that matches your studio size, server count, and automation needs.
Common Limits
- Max games — how many experiences one account can manage.
- Max variables — config entries per game. Higher tiers unlock more variable slots and allow JSON and boolean types.
- Max Discord servers — linked servers per game. Restricted commands require higher tiers.
- Max team members — collaborators per account. Useful for studios with multiple builders and community managers.
- Daily live actions — remote command quota per day. Includes announces, rewards, kicks, and bans.
- AI scans / AI chat — daily quotas for map scanner and assistant features.
- Allowed config types — Free tiers may restrict config to string/number only. JSON and boolean require higher tiers.
- GitHub integration — commit history depth and import access. Pro and Dev tiers include full history access.
Plan Comparison
Exact numbers change from time to time as we adjust quotas and add features. View the current pricing table from the footer or homepage for the latest limits per tier.
- Free — good for solodevs testing one game with basic config and remote commands.
- Pro — unlocks multiple Discord servers, team members, higher live-action quota, and AI features.
- Developer — for studios managing many games, large teams, and high-volume automation.
Plan Expiry
Paid tiers may include an expiry date tied to your subscription or purchase. Once expired, the account falls back to Free tier limits. Your configs, scripts, and history are not deleted — they just become subject to the lower quotas.
Check your account page for renewal status. If you need more time or want to downgrade deliberately, do it before expiry to avoid unexpected lockouts.
How to Upgrade or Downgrade
- Visit the Pricing page from the footer or homepage.
- Select the tier that fits your current usage. You can change plans later.
- After upgrading, limits apply immediately. Downgrades typically apply at the next billing cycle.
- If you are close to a limit, the dashboard will warn you before blocking actions.
